Iran series remakes nuclear scientist assassination

The assassination scene of top Iranian nuclear scientist, martyr Majid Shahriari, has been recreated in new Iran series ‘Morning of the Last Day’.

The series directed by Hossein Tabrizi is themed on martyr Shahriari who was assassinated by Mossad terrorists in Iran.

The series unfolds on the day of Shahriari’s assassination with a flashback to his past, narrating his 46 years of living in this transient world. ‘Morning of the Last Day’ deals with various scientific, social and familial aspects of Shahriari’s life as well as the achievements of Iranian scientists in the nuclear industry.

He is one of the few people who had high academic degrees and solved difficult nuclear problems. This was enough for the enemies to focus and make a plot to assassinate him.

In November 2010, Mosaad-linked assassins riding motorcycles planted and detonated a bomb on his car door.
